A tractor-trailer rolled over at the intersection of Olympic and Athena drives Monday morning, but the only injuries were to thousands of Coke cans.

The intersection was closed from about 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. after the hauler carrying Coca-Colas and other beverages overturned, damaging hundreds of cases of Coke and spewing gallons of the secret formula across the intersection.

Private cleanup crews worked with county fire and police for hours in the messy aftermath, cleaning up the site with the overturned 18-wheeler still lying on its side.

"The trailer busted open like an egg," said Scott Shuman of Shuman wrecker service, and said the crews had to unload the truck before workers could turn it upright Monday afternoon.
